Classroom Edition Now Available Online and on DVD!
We’re pleased to announce that Electoral Dysfunction is now available at no charge for use in middle school and high school classes. The 36-minute Classroom Edition of the award-winning PBS documentary is accompanied by an extensive curriculum guide.
Officially endorsed by The National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), this closed-captioned video is hosted by Emmy-winning political humorist Mo Rocca, who takes a road trip to explore voting in America. Topics addressed include Constitutional provisions on voting and voting rights; the origins and present-day impact of the Electoral College; voter ID laws; ballot design; inconsistencies among America’s 13,000 voting jurisdictions; and reforms that would make elections fairer and more uniform.

The REVERE Awards, now in its 50th year, which identify and honor high-quality resources that educate learners of all ages, in all media and in all educational environments. The Classroom Edition is one of two finalists in the Social Sciences/History category; and

What are the strengths of this production?
Where do I begin? Fantastic delivery of a very dry topic. Yet the information is so necessary to our young voters. This is a prime example of how through humor, graphics, intelligent writing, and great narration, you can educate all of us, not just children. Outstanding film!
